Letters to the Editor
Letters to the Editor are welcomed and will be considered for publication in a future issue. If selected for publication, letters will be limited to 300 words or less and may be edited for clarity or brevity. The content of correspondence to Alpacas Magazine becomes the sole property of AOBA and may be used and published in any manner without limit, obligation, or liability.
Editorial / Advertising Policies
Opinions contained in articles and advertising are those of the contributing author(s) only, and are not necessarily the views of Alpacas Magazine or its staff; AOBA; or AOBA officials, staff, employees, or agents. Publication in Alpacas Magazine does not constitute an endorsement of the views, products, or services contained in said articles and advertisements. Alpacas Magazine does not warrant the accuracy of the material contained in any article or the quality or authenticity of goods or services contained in any advertisement. The Alpaca Owners & Breeders Association, Inc. reserves the right to edit or reject at its discretion any advertisement submitted for publication in Alpacas Magazine. Only AOBA-certified showring and fleece competitions may be advertised in Alpacas Magazine, to include paid advertising, editorial coverage, and inclusion in the Alpaca Community Events Calendar.
While Alpacas Magazine consistently endeavors to publish on or ahead of printed release dates, we cannot be held responsible for publishing later than those anticipated release dates. We also assume no responsibility for circumstances beyond our control, such as untimely postal delivery, equipment failure, etc. Time-sensitive events (e.g., an open house or a merchandise sale) that will occur twelve weeks or more after a targeted magazine issue come with a money-back guarantee (either refund, credit, or
re-run ad). To qualify, date(s) must specificially appear on the ad, and not be just a general "seasonal" event. Ads such as "Season's Greetings" or "Come See Our Autumn Foliage" do not qualify as time-senstive events. Time-sensitive events that will occur less than twelve weeks after a targeted magazine issue come with no publication guarantees.

Alpacas Magazine® is produced on recycled paper so AOBA can do its part to assist the environment. We encourage our members who do not save issues to not discard issues in garbage but to take the extra effort to put Alpacas Magazine® issues along with other recyclable paper products to the proper collection facility. This simple action will save the harvesting of trees just for paper manufacturing and ultimately space in landfills.
